Аннотация
Статья продолжает исследование особенностей сводов скальных храмов региона Тыграй на севере Эфиопии, первая часть которого была посвящена куполам. В центре внимания два широко распространенных в сводах скальных церквей Тыграй мотива: кессоны и перекрытие по системе вписанных друг в друга квадратов. В базиликах позднего периода (XIV-XV вв.) эти элементы зачастую комбинируются. Впервые специально рассматривается вопрос генезиса данных конструкций в Эфиопии в контексте возможного влияния других регионов мира, в первую очередь в контексте связи с античной традицией. В статье впервые предлагается классификация различных типов рассматриваемых элементов в скальном зодчестве Эфиопии, основанная на стилистическом анализе. В Эфиопии кессоны, возможно, имеют арабо-мусульманское и коптское происхождение и берут свое начало в архитектуре Восточного Средиземноморья античного периода. Значительно сложнее установить генезис конструкции перекрытия свода сокращающимися со смещением по диагонали квадратами. В поисках прототипов автор обращается к массиву памятников с подобным перекрытием, имевшим обширный ареал распространения в мире. Особый интерес вызывает данная форма в античной традиции, когда она была широко распространена в Малой Азии. Возможность преемственности Эфиопии по отношению к античной культуре подтверждается находками археологов. Однако влияние античности также могло быть опосредованным.
